As volunteer co-supervisor of the girl-led local Girl Scout astronomy club, Patrick helps plan and manage virtual activities, in-person stargazing events, and grant-funded programs.
Brown-bag presentation produced and presented by Patrick for Burns & McDonnell employees leading up to the 2017 Great American Total Solar Eclipse.
As a member of NASA’s Solar System Ambassador program, Patrick serves as a space and astronomy science resource for his region. He has volunteered to help teachers with program materials and execution, and consults for local media and the general public on celestial events and astronomical discoveries.
